My outfit today was inspired by a necklace I bought on my last trip to Ghana. It made me feel all tribal. I remembered the skirt suit that I got from CBS  a while ago. I wore the shirt to go with it here.  

To bring the the look up todate I hand sewed the front of the skirt to make it shorter than the back.

Summer loving

I think you guys have noticed by now that my wardrobe is full of bright colours. I got this Zara dress in the sale earlier this year and this is the first time I've worn it. I think the leopard print shoes give it an added vava voom. (I told you I am obsessed with animal print).

Hackney Weekender

I had an absolute blast yesterday at the Hackney Weekender with my girl Corinne, and best of all it was  practically free.
This is what I wore and thank God for these boots as I don't own a pair of wellies and as I found out they are essential when attending events held on grass especially with British weather being so unpredictable. I suppose festivals wouldn't be the same if there wasn't a bit of mud.

I got to enjoy acts like Rihanna, Florence + the machine, Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal, Azealia Banks, Taio Cruz, Lana Del Rey to name a few. The surprise of the night was when JayZ joined Rihanna to close the show. The crowd went wild.

It's like Grease lightning

Firstly, I just have to declare how much I love this dress. I bought it last year but this is the first time I have worn it and what a fitting event than to a summer wedding. It is very sophisticated and sexy without showing to much flesh. It is against the rules for anyone but the bride and the brides mother to wear white, cream or ivory but I ink I got away with it because of the black details in the dress.

Magazine freebies

Yay! We have reached the time of the year when all the glossy magazines giveaway freebies. It is easy to get carried away and buy all of them as I almost did. I mean come on who wouldn't be tempted to buy more than one mag for £2 and get a Jemma Kid mascara normally worth about £10 for free and have a good read as well.
